Ian Carrico

Ian Carrico is an engineer with a penchant for solving difficult problems with more elegant solutions. He is currently a senior performance engineer at Vox Media, the fastest-growing modern media company, where he leads efforts to increase speed, transparency, and security for all of the company's brands and businesses.

Ian has spoken at O'Reilly Velocity, South by Southwest, and DrupalCon on creating higher performing websites. He has worked on some of the highest trafficked media sites, including NBC.com, The Economist, and Vox.com.
